Which ADO Pipelines does OpenShift Extension work with?

I am setting up a deploy pipeline in ADO. This pipeline will need to pull files from GitLab (not TFS Git).
Then it needs to deploy the files to OpenShift.
I need to know if the Openshift extension works with all ADO build & deploy pipelines.
For example when creating a Build Pipeline in ADO, I can choose from "Azure Repos Git", "Other Git", etc.
Does OpenShift extension work in all these pipelines?

Same question for creating a Deploy (New release) Pipeline in ADO, I can choose from a number of templates.
At this point I am not sure which template to use, but I want to know if the
OpenShift extension will work with all of them.
